MASS HYSTERICAL

BALLET WEST (MAY 2025)

Inspired by witch trials (both past and present), the absurdity of group social behaviors, and the flock mentality of a social media-driven culture.

The score features competitive whistler Eric Bertoni, cellist Jennifer Kloetzel and vocalist Britney Coleman; further instrumentation includes sound design such as crickets, fire, and bones.

THE THING WITH FEATHERS

BALLET WEST IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SUNDANCE INSTITUTE (MAY 2021)

In collaboration with choreographer Emily Adams; featuring Princess Grace Award-winner, Beckanne Sisk. The score fuses orchestral elegance with raw sound-design alchemy, transforming glass taps, birdsong, and thunderclaps into a playful ode to the inner child that interrogates the constructs of adulthood.

THE THING WITH FEATHERS: THE MAKING OF

BALLET WEST, DOCUMENTARY SHORT

Watch me & choreographer Emily Adams talk about collaborating on a new ballet; featuring behind-the-scenes footage from inside the rehearsal studios at Ballet West.

Fun fact... after collaborating remotely for almost a year during pandemic times, we finally met in-person just moments before this interview. Palms sweaty, mom’s spaghetti.

IF THE BODY SPEAKS

BALLET WEST, IN COLLABORATION WITH ARTÉMOTION (JULY 2023)
